SFF have finally joined the social networking revolution and can now be located on facebook and twitter.  Simply click on the icons to be redirected.  These act as more of a 'live feed' and so are a good current measure of what is going on in the region.  If you have any events or projects you would like highlighted, contact Sophie Cooper at sophie.cooper@southwestfoodanddrink.com to get these added to either site.

Farming and Food are the key elements in the economy of the South West. The region produces more food than Scotland and three times as much as Wales. Agriculture contributes twice as much to the regional economy as the average English region and generates twice as many jobs.  Just as importantly, it is farmers and landowners who have helped create and care for an environment as varied and beautiful as any in the world and which contributes hugely to the quality of life that is the region's biggest single selling point.
